District Leaders Network for School Climate & Student Support

The District Leaders Network (formerly, Urban Leaders Network) held their kick-off event on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at Shriners Hospital in Springfield, MA.

With a spotlight on Springfield family engagement and home visits, a panel discussed the origin of the program, its impact and recent changes. Participants also decided on next topics for future network meetings. Attendees included leaders from across Massachusetts who oversee or coordinate strategies related to student support, social-emotional aspects of learning, school climate and culture, family and community engagement, and wraparound services for students and families.
